The Man Behind the Dream:
Kenroy "Coach Royal" Williams

Royal Football Development Group is the passion and vision of lifelong player, coach, and community-builder Kenroy “Royal” Williams.

A former professional player in Jamaica and longtime competitor in high-level leagues across the United States, Coach Royal brings a lifetime of football experience, leadership, and cultural pride to the organization.

His journey includes professional experience with Village United FC, Vedas United FC, and Montego Bay United FC, along with competitive experience across Boston, Baltimore, and Central Ohio, including Cambridge FC, Lynn FC, the African League Tournament, Spanish League Tournament, Bob Marley Tournament, Africa Black Star Team, and the Cameroon League of Central Ohio.

But Coach Royal’s connection to football extends far beyond clubs and competition.

Across cities throughout the United States and Jamaica, he uses football as a universal language to connect with people from all backgrounds. Through freestyle juggling, pickup games, mentorship, and spontaneous football experiences, he creates meaningful moments that reflect the creativity, joy, and global culture of the sport.

For Coach Royal, football is more than a game to be played — it is a bridge that builds relationships, strengthens communities, and creates opportunity.

That belief is the foundation of Royal Football Development Group and the vision that continues to drive its work today.
